I have done as you suggested above. I plugged in an X-box style controller. The game controller set up utility worked fine. I am wondering if the old Windows 7 drivers were migrated over to Windows 10 during the update to Windows 10 and now this is preventing the Windows 10 drivers from installing properly. Suggest you to completely uninstall the USB driver and reinstall it to check if this helps. In the uninstall dialog, make sure you select the option to delete the driver package from the system.
This causes the driver package installed earlier to be deleted. This will force the computer to recognize any hardware changes. Once the driver is installed, close all windows and restart the computer. I have tried what you suggested above, but that did not help. I have also tried the drivers for the H. S on another PC which has had a clean install of windows 10 and everything works fine. I have also connected an X-Box controller to my PC and the calibration utility works fine for that.
I believe something has not gone right when I updated from windows 7 to As I do not have any of those items, they must be related to the H. I think I may have to do a clean install of Windows Unfortunately I can't find my office disc, so I have not been able to do that.
