It is started by Aron Xu for the students who participate in the Olympiad in Informatics and prefer Anjuta 1 to Anjuta 2. Users can get updates when new translations or other useful hacks come to Anjuta 1. After you have imported the key and added the PPA, run this command in a terminal:. Then you will install the anjuta-old package, and anjuta-old-common will be installed automatically by dependency.
This operation will warn then delete the original anjuta and anjuta-common packages whatever version you have installed. If you have any suggestion or problem, or you want to help translate the software, please contact me. Skip to content. In Anjuta 2. Without starting a new thread I better use this thread to ask the solutions of my problem. Then it is just an ordinary editor, not an IDE.
I checked its manual and then surprised to see that all menu items are missing from my installation. Any help is appreciated. Otherwise I can move to code:Block or Kdevelop. I have the same problem, and i see no one posted a solution yet.
I hope there is a solution. Ok, I am another victim of the same problem. I made both, helloworld test and I also tried with an already working project. Any suggestion to fix the problem will be welcome.
Cheers, mk. I will give it a try tomorrow at work since I'm assuming that 2. Why am I even quoting myself?
Reading is bliss, do it! As i made a project and didn't have the option build, a had compile, run autogenerate and execute program options not greyed. I ran the run autogenerate option and it asked me for some packages, i do not remember wich ones, but when i installed them and ran run autogenerate, the build option appeared!
In case you do not know to read i mentioned that i made a project. You know to read, right? I did ask for screenshots :. Hi there, I had the same problem and reading the forum of anjuta someone points out the solution, at least for me, Lee Mulcahy said: In case you have not solved your problem, I had the same problem when I first tried a new project.
What the User's Manual does NOT say is that you need a make file before the build options are active. After I did this, I ran Autogenerate again, with no parameters, and it generated some sort of makefile.
After that completed, the Build options were no longer grayed out, I built the program, and it ran. Using version 2. When I try to execute the program though it will not work. Just encase you ask yes I have built a new project and yes I did save it.
I can not even run the program in the terminal on my own. I checked the file and it was set to executable. Then I would use another script to execute it to make sure that it runs properly. I am not at home at the moment, I am on an XP box, but when I get home I might give code::blocks a try. I managed to download the old files and install version 1. Everything works exactly like it use to!
